That's everything except the cooler and water can. There isn't a practical way for me to move the hanger 1/2" at the moment, sometime this summer I planned on taking the box off so I can repaint the frame and I can have the hangers welded at that time. I wonder if longer shackles would make much of a difference?

We're taking a short trip with it this weekend, less than an hour each way. Mostly highway with a FS road at the end. Should be able to make a good assessment of the ride quality.

From arched to flat, the springs will extend about 1 1/2". Looks like they still have room to extend flat.

Got my 29" kit (Thanks Scott) installed on my 1,000lb tent trailer. Shackles are at 38 degrees from vertical with plenty of arch. I'll recheck after she's fully loaded. If I need to, I'll slip one of the leaves from the stock 23" springs in. She's nice and bouncy compared to stiff-as-a-board stock. Shocks should be here tomorrow.

Dandy, need to do a Trailer Bio so we can see what you have and how the spring kit went on.

It looks like he used the frame reinforcement as a make-shift lift. Or am I seeing that wrong? I guess that's one more option to get another 2" of lift!

Nope, the offroad version of the Neon has 3" blocks the springs get mounted to. The thing I like about Scott's kit is that I got to tie those blocks together which aren't stock.

Ah I see. Probably does a lot of strength to those blocks now.

I guess it's still an option for other people who want a couple inches of lift without going spring over axle.

Sometimes too painful pictures wise as can take an hour just get one pic loaded on Photobucket to pull a URL.
This project was more than just a spring kit. I did a SOA, so had to weld on new spring mounts. I also welded on shock mounts, made an upper shock mount bar, extend tongue jack, stabilizer jacks and brake wiring.

I'll ask here to, how are the Spring Kit hangers attached? Just to the original hanger bolt holes?

2 bolts thru the angle iron to which I welded tabs onto and thru the blocks with sleeves above the eye bolts that you can see, and 2 up thru the hanger holes. All are Grade 8 1/2".
