My name is Chris,

My family and I which includes: Wife, Daughter (4), and Son (2) are starting to get more adventurous.  I use to tent camp lots when I was younger, but my wife not so much.  Here recently we have tried to go on some family hikes and have really enjoyed it.  I didn't expect my wife to be this willing to do this much outdoor activities.

This year we are planning on tent camping in local state parks.  We already have a few tents but am looking to start building a trailer to haul everything, so I do not have to take my F-150 every time.  The trailer also helps keep everything all in one space.

I look forward to learning and gaining knowledge on here.

Welcome Chris...
I too am from GA. What parts do you live? I live across the expressway from Atlanta Motor Speedway.
I will be building a Roof top tent trailer for my camping/overlanding needs. I will be picking up the trailer tonight, and hopefully I'll be getting started on building it right a way. There is definitely some usable information here, and Scott is very experienced and knowledgable when it comes to build compact camping trailers. Cheers...
