it has a heavy old Dana 35 Jeep axle under it so that will be one of my first priorities after deciding on a tire and wheel combo

Decided that the trailer will have the same tire and wheel combo as my tow vehicle

Axle has been ordered and trailer goes off to Line-X this week. tent will be moved to trailer.

P.s. how do I post photos direct to post instead of linking?

To post pictures, first you will need to have your digital images stored on a photo hosting site, I use Flickr . To post a picture from Flickr, select the Share Photo arrow. The copy & paste the BBcode into your post. You can also type in “[img]”, then paste in the internet address of a picture, then type in “[/img]"

Note: Currently clicking the image icon from the post menu is not enable because we do not have a local repository.

Looks great, any plans for outfitting it other than the tent?

couple of cool little features. The spare tire carrier will be dual purpose. It’s actually a stand-alone carrier mounted to a receiver on the tongue and easily transferred to the tow vehicle for exploring, since the trailer shares the same tire wheel combo as car. Telescoping tent rack. 12 volt power system and solar. Contents of boxes is standard camping equipment. Trailer was designed to be pre-packed and ready for quick trips without cluttering up the Subaru. May add rotopax for fuel at some point.

Sounds a lot like what I did to mine, feel free to ask any questions along the way, good luck!
